ISLAMABAD, Oct 22 (APP):Minister for Law and Justice Dr. Muhammad Farogh Naseem on Monday said that National
Accountability Bureau (NAB) is completely independent institution and working without any interference.
Talking to a private news channel, he said action would be taken against all corrupt elements without any discrimination and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) would not step back from the accountability process.
NAB was also conducting inquiry of those who are in government and no interference was being made within its affairs, he added.
The minister said people had given mandate to PTI government for eliminating the corruption from the country.
He said that amendments in National Accountability Bureau (NAB), laws could enhance efficiency of this national institution dealing with corruption cases.The government would going to introduce reforms in the NAB laws, he added.
He rejected the perception that the government was targeting the opposition.
NAB had separate way of investigations, he said.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had raised the voice against corruption.
