Sukkur, Dec 9 (APP): The National Accountability Bureau (NAB)Sukkur,
organised an Anti-Corruption Walk here on Friday in line with the International Anti-Corruption Day which is observed every year under the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC).
The Anti-Corruption Walk commenced from the DG NAB office Sukkur and
ended at Sukkur Institute of Business Administration Sukkur.
A large number of people from all walks of life participated in the walk
including, including Provincial Minister Sindh for Passport Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, politicians, bureaucrats, educational institutions representatives, government officials, members of civil society and the general public.
The DG NAB Sukkur Altaf Ahmed Bhawani while delivering the welcome
speech expressed his gratitude to the participants and highlighted the importance of public awareness events.
Highlighting the role of all stakeholders and public representatives, he
said that the government and opposition will have to join hands to eradicate the menace of corruption from society.
