NA Speaker accorded warm welcome in Bahrain

ISLAMABAD, Nov 7 (APP): Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq was warmly welcomed at the Bahrain airport by his Bahraini counterpart and a number of Bahraini Parliamentarians as he arrived here Monday on a three day official visit.
Speaking about the visit, Javed Malik, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain said that Speaker of the Bahraini Parliament Ahmed Bin Ebrahim Al Mullah along with the deputy speaker and a number of other Parliamentarians personally received the speaker at the Airport, according to a message received here from Bahrain.
“This warm welcome represents the importance of the cordial bilateral relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain,” he said, adding the visit will consolidate, strengthen and further expand the scope of bilateral ties between both countries.
Ambassador Javed Malik added that as Pakistan and Bahrain shared a historic relationship, “we are working to ensure that the future of our bilateral relations continues its positive momentum and it is part of Pakistan’s foreign policy to strengthen its ties with all GCC states.”
“More than 4 million Pakistanis live in the Gulf region and regular visits of our leaders continue to bolster our ties and explore ways to expand them in line with the trends of the prevailing geo strategic zevelopments,” he added.
“We have planned a busy schedule for the speaker and meetings will be held with his Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and a number of senior Ministers in Bahraini government,” said the Ambassador.
