NA passes resolution strongly condemning anti-Pakistan speech of Altaf

Legislators pay tributes to Shuhada, Ghazis of 1965 war

ISLAMABAD, Sep. 2 (APP): The National Assembly on Friday passed a resolution strongly condemning anti-Pakistan and provocative speech of MQM chief Altaf Hussain and attack on media houses on August 22.

The resolution moved by Minister for Kashmir Affairs Chaudhry Bargis Tahir termed Altaf speech derogatory to the country and an attack on the ideology of Pakistan.

The House also condemned all kinds of crimes, torture, terrorism and anti-Pakistan slogans from any side and demanded severe action against all those invloved in it under the law.

The House expressed complete solidarity with the Parliament, armed forces, media and all democratic institutions of the country.
