Musadik urges PTI to take permission for protest not lockdown

ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP): Spokesman to the Prime Minister Dr Musadik Malik on Friday urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to take written permission from the government for holding peaceful protest at one place but not for lockdown.
Speaking to a TV channel, he said peaceful protest was the right of every political party in a democratic system.
He said Sheikh Rashid had not taken permission for his protest outside Lal Haveli that was why action was taken against them.
Dr Musadik said if PTI or other political party would take permission from the government through written application then the government would provide security to them as well.
He said the government would utilize all available resources to protect lives and properties of citizens of the country during the protest demonstrations.
He said if we remove barriers from the place of protest then any terror incident could occurred.
He said PTI should wait for Supreme Court’s orders where it had filed
the petition regarding Panama papers.
