Musadik urges PTI to take permission for protest not lockdown


ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (APP): Spokesman to the Prime Minister Dr
Musadik Malik has urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to
take written permission from the government for holding peaceful
protest at one place but not for lockdown.

Speaking to a TV channel, he said peaceful protest was the
right of every political party in a democratic system.

He said Sheikh Rashid had not taken permission for his
protest outside Lal Haveli that was why action was taken against

Dr Musadik said if PTI or other political party would take
permission from the government through written application then
the government would provide security to them as well.

He said the government would utilize all available resources
to protect lives and properties of citizens of the country during
the protest demonstrations.

He said if we remove barriers from the place of protest then
any terror incident could occurred.

He said PTI should wait for Supreme Court’s orders where it
had filed the petition regarding Panama papers.
