Ministers condemn Indian firing across LoC


ISLAMABAD, Sep 30 (APP): Cabinet ministers Friday
strongly condemned the Indian firing across the Line of Control (LoC) and said that Indian nefarious designs against Pakistan were exposed.

They said that Pakistani armed forces are fully capable
of defending every inch of their motherland and ready to foil any aggression.

Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that the
nation and all the political parties were united and fully support armed forces in current warfare situation.

Talking to PTV News, he said that Indian Prime Minister
Modi was trying to give false color to the exchange of fire on the Line of Control to satisfy its people and media.

He said India’s firing on the Line of Control was part of a well thought out plan to satisfy Indian public opinion.

Defence Minister said Pakistan gave befitting response
to Indian aggression and our armed forces are fully prepared to do so in case of any violation of cease fire on the Line of Control. Khawaja Asif said India wanted to divert the world attention from Kashmir issue by creating undue tension with Pakistan.

He said Pakistan is a peace loving country and it considers durable peace as most essential for achieving sustainable development for people in the region.

He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif vigorously pleaded the
case of occupied Kashmir at the United Nations General Assembly and will continue efforts for resolving Kashmir issue.

Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir said that India is trying
to divert attention from its ongoing atrocities and brutalities in the occupied Kashmir.

He demanded the United Nations and other human
rights organizations to take serious notice of Indian brutalities in the occupied Kashmir.

He said innocent Kashmiri people deserve support not
only from Pakistan but also from the entire world.

Pakistan will continue to extend moral and diplomatic
support to Kashmiri people until realization of their rights and solution of the Kashmir issue as per aspiration, he added.

He said that India want to provoke Pakistan but the
government is following the right course by showing maturity in its conduct.

While talking to PTV news, State Minister for Education Baligh
ur Rehman said that Indian recent violation across LoC was an attempt to divert world attention from its atrocities being committed on innocent Kashmiri people by the Indian forces.

He said Indian leadership is not serious about the
harmful situation which can create dangerous consequences in the region adding that both states are nuclear states and any wrong action can be dangerous for the region.

He hoped that all the political parties and the cabinet
are united and will pass on the message of unity to India.

Advisor to Prime Minister Engr Ameer Moqam said that
Pakistani nation is united on Kashmir issue and fully
support Kashmiri people for their inalienable rights.

“We are ready to response swiftly over India aggressive
attitude,” he added.
