ISLAMABAD, Nov 18 (APP): Minister of State for Water & Power,
Ch Abid Sher Ali Friday said that load shedding would be reduced in different cities of Sinhd.
Responding to point of order in National Assembly, he said payment
of over Rs 50 billion revenue was pending with the Sindh government out of which Rs 10 billion were paid so far.
Abid Sheer Ali said load shedding was linked to power theft and bills
payment and the areas where bills remained unpaid and losses were more.
The Minister offered to constitute a committee to resolve this issue
of payment between Sindh government and the Ministry.
He said all the problems of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) would be resolved very soon as Water and Power Ministry was equal treatment to all provinces.
MNAs Ayaz Soomro, Shahida Rehmani and Malik Abrar mentioned power and gas load shedding in different areas.
