Law & order in interior Sindh improved, crimes reduced as result of Rangers’ action


KARACHI, Aug 04 (APP)- There has been a significant improvement in the law and order in interior Sindh while the crimes decreased as a result of the targeted actions by Pakistan Rangers’ Sindh since September 5, 2013 when it was given powers under article 147.

A Sindh Rangers statement issued here on Thursday said that during the period the Rangers also assisted the police from time to time in the operation against criminals.

It said that during these operation, 533 alleged criminals were also arrested during the period.

The statement said that the incidents of kidnapping for ransom decreased up to 77 percent, murders by 44 percent, dacoities by 53 percent and street crimes by 27 percent.
