Lahore wins 23rd National Tenshinkan Girls Karate Championship

MULTAN, Dec 27 (APP): Lahore won the 23rd National Tenshinkan Girls Karate Championship 2015 while Multan remained runner-up and Faisalabad stood third.

The competitions of karate championship were held at Multan gymnasium. In girls events, Lahore remained first by making 36 points, Multan stood second with 21 points and Faisalabad bagged third position with 18 points.

In 45 kg, Sidra from Lahore remained first and Tayyaba second and Hifsa from Multan and Saba Aisha from Nankana Sahib stood third.

In 50 kg weight, Nadia Irshad from Multan first, Razia from Faisalabad second and Nimra from Faisalabad and Sana Shahzadi from Lahore remained third.

In 55 kg weight, Hina Akhtar from Lahore first, Humaira second and Qurat-ul-Ain from Nankana Sahib stood third.

In 55 plus, Yasra from Lahore first, Komal Iqbal from Multan second and Roshina from Faisalabad and Noureen Nawaz from Nankana remained third.

Nadia Irshad was declared best player of the event and got gold medal.

Chairman chamber of small traders Ihtasham-ul-Haq, Mian Aziz-u-Rehman and Mian Jameel Ahmad were the chief guests.
