BISP playing commendable role in poverty alleviation: AJK President

ISLAMABAD, Oct 1 (APP): President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Masood Khan Saturday said Kashmir had never been a part of India as Kashmiri people were struggling to get independence from its occupation.

Talking to a TV channel, he said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had delivered speech at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) effectively to raise the voice of Kashmiri people.

He said the Prime Minister urged the world community to play its role for resolving the lingering Kashmir issue.

The President AJK said, India had admitted in many resolutions passed in UN that it would give right to self determination to Kashmiri people.

He said that Kashmiris would not be disappointed and continue their struggle till achievement of their objective.
Masood Khan said that Pakistan and India were two nuclear states and they should act as responsible countries.

He said that India was involved in terrorism activities in Balochistan to de stabilize Pakistan.

The President said India was leveling baseless allegations aginst Pakistan as it never presented solid evidences.

Uri attack was also a conspiracy against Pakistan and now
India was committing violations on Line of Control (LoC), he added.

He said that India was committing human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and trying to isolate Pakistan in world for raising Kashmir issue on international forums. India would not succeed in its nefarious designs, he added.

Commenting on PML N government’s agenda in AJK, he said
Kashmir issue was top priority of the government and it would play role to highlighting and resolving the longstanding issue.

The President said it was his mission to make the AJK a
exemplary state and steps would be taken in this regard.
