ISLAMABAD, Aug 30 (APP): Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain Tuesday said peace in Karachi had been restored due to operation and credit went to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif who had launched the operation with consensus of all political parties.
Talking to PTV, the minister said the Prime Minister had
taken big decisions for restoring peace in metropolitan city.
He said problems of the mega city of the country had to be
resolved on priority.
He said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) should learn from past mistakes and it should adopt strategy for future.
Replying to question, he said if someone was de-linked with MQM leader Altaf Hussain then space should be given him.
He said Altaf Hussain delivered speech against the country as leader of MQM and not as an individual.
To another query, he said the government was looking all
legal technicalities of MQM leader Altaf Hussain’s speech and was in contact with British authorities in this regard.
