Kamran Michael extends new year greetings

LAHORE, Jan 1 (APP): Federal Minister for Human Rights
Kamran Michael on Sunday felicitated the nation on the arrival
of new year and urged the nation to make sincere efforts for
the progress and prosperity of the country.
In a statement issued here, the minister said that the
last year the country showed good performance in different
areas adding that success in war against terrorism and economic
stability were appreciated at international level.
He said the government had laid the foundation of
stable, peaceful, protected and financially strong Pakistan in
year 2016 with the support of the people.
The minister said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor
(CPEC) is proving to be a real game changer for the country
and added that today’s Pakistan was much better than it was in
the previous years.
Kamran said that 2017 is the year in which development
projects would be completed.
