ISLAMABAD, Nov 27 (APP): Iranian and Pakistani officials in a meeting held in Istanbul underlined the need for the expansion of economic and trade cooperation.
Iran, Pakistan stress broadening of economic cooperation Iranian Economy Minister Ali Tayyebnia and Pakistani Trade Minister Khurram Dastgir met on the sidelines of meeting of Islamic Countries economy and trade ministers in Istanbul, IRNA news agency reported.
The two sides voiced their willingness to boost trade and economic
cooperation and the need for paving the grounds for all-out bilateral ties.
Iran and Turkey have been pursuing increasing widening of their ties in
various fields in the last two decades. Iran is a main energy supplier to
Turkey and Ankara has made huge investments in Iran.
The two states plan to multiply their trade transactions in the next
few years.
