ISLAMABAD, Aug 29 (APP):Interior Ministry Monday denied making any commitment with chief of Majlis Wahdatul Muslamain (MWM) Allama Nasir Abbas for his ending his party’s strike.
Commenting on the statement of chief of MWM, Allama Nasir Abbas, a spokesman of Interior Ministry said in a statement that the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan neither made any promise with MWM chief nor given him any assurance for ending the strike.
He said Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had gone to hospital on August 5 to inquire about the health of Allama Nasir Abbas Jaffery.
During the meeting, the spokesman said, interior minister had only pledged to help Majlis Wahdatul-Muslamain in taking up their issues with the provincial governments, that too if Majlis avoid putting any condition.
Spokesman said that the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan was striving hard for finding suitable solution to the demands of MWM so that the MWM could seize protest and guide the government in tackling important national issues.
However giving wrong meaning to the good faith of interior minister is deplorable.
