FAISALABAD, Aug 2 (APP): Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan Iwan Suyudhie Amri visited The University of Faisalabad (TUF) here Tuesday and held a meeting with the university’s faculty members.

Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador said Pakistan and Indonesia have deep rooted religious, cultural and economic relations. These associations can be strengthened more by promoting relations in the field of education, he added.

In this context, he showed keen interest to have collaboration amongst The University of Faisalabad and leading Universities of Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Ambassador also visited various departments and labs of the university and appreciated its state-of-the-art infrastructure and standard of education.

Later, he visited different medical wards of affiliated Madinah Teaching Hospital and presented flowers to the patient there.

Mr Iwan Suyudhie Amri also planted a sapling in the university’s lawn.
