UNMOGIP officers come under Indian firing at LoC, remain unhurt

RAWALPINDI Oct 03 (APP): Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing at three different sectors across the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir at different time spans on Monday.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the trade
of fire from across the LoC at Iftakharabad Sector, started in the wee hours on Monday was responded in a befitting manner. Similarly, the Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing at about mid day at Nezapir Sector. The trade of fire was responded.

In the third incident of violation of the LoC ceasefire, the
Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing at Kailer Sector in the afternoon. The firing was again responded in an effective manner to silence their guns.
