Imran showing no trust in state institutions: Zubair

PTI’s threat to shut down Islamabad revolt against state: Zubair

ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP): Minister of State for Privatization
Muhammad Zubair Saturday said it was astonishing that PTI chief Imran Khan was showing no trust in state institutions, including  the SC and ECP by threatening to shut Islamabad.

He said the Chief Justice opf Pakistan had constituted a
Supreme Court (SC) bench to hear the petition of Pakistan
Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) while the Election Commission of
Pakistan (ECP) had also started investigation on the reference  against the prime minister.

Speaking in a private news channel’s programme, Muhammad Zubair said the government was ready for accountability on the Panama Papers as Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had presented himself and his family for investigations on the issue.

There were some differences on the terms of reference
(for enquiry commission) between the government and the opposition, he added.

To a question, he said the government would adopt all legal
means to stop PTI from shutting Islamabad.

He said there had been visible improvement in the economy
of the country in three years of the PML-N government.

Economic development, foreign investment and increase in tax collection was result of the prudent policies and the conducive environment created by the government, he added.

He said despite criticizing the federal government, the PTI
should take steps to serve the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa where they were in power.
