PESHAWAR, Oct 22 (APP): Advisor to Prime Minister Engineer Ameer Muqam on Saturday said the Pakistan Tehreek i Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan should wait the Supreme Court’s decision on the petitions regarding the Panama leaks instead of shutting down the federal capital.

The apex court, he said, would decide that who had steal the
resources of the country and who had embezzled the public funds.

He was addressing the 35th anniversary of Abdul Qayyum Khan, founder of the Pakistan Muslim League in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, here.

Ameer Muqam said the people of KP had given an opportunity to the PTI to form government and work for their welfare, but its chief minister and ministers were involved in corruption. Even the KP chief minister was accused by one of his cabinet ministers minting money from illegal mining and appointments, he added.

He said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had brought
development in the country in the form of China Pakistan Economic Cooridor (CPEC), but opposition leaders, especially of OTI, were doing politics on non issues, to put hirdles in its way. The KP people, he said, would not become part any agitation which would be against the CEPC.

He blamed the PTI of showing duplicity. It was blaming the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz government for taking loans for launching development projects in the country, but its Khattak led KP government had inked a treaty with international donors for the Swat Expressway and power projects in the province.

He said that Imran Khan on one side was enjoying a government in the KP but on the other was criticizing the federal government for the sake of opposition. He was in fact dreaming for becoming prime minister of the country, he added.

He appreciated Pakistan People Party for playing the role of a
real opposition.
