ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (APP): Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez is likely to be included in the third Test against West Indies beginning from October 30 in Sharjah.
Talking to APP, a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official said Hafeez is now 100 percent fit and has made a complete recovery from his knee injury therefore the PCB is thinking to include him in the third test.
Responding to a question, he said PCB has not yet thought about the bowling assessment test of Hafeez from the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Hafeez on Monday in a statement had said that he is ready to undergo the bowling assessment test. He said he wanted to be 100 percent fit before undergoing the bowling assessment test.
Hafeez, 35, is one of the senior most players in Pakistan cricket having appeared in 50 Tests, 177 ODIs and 77 T20 internationals and before he was banned from bowling his off-spinners he remained a crucial part of the Pakistan team.
Hafeez has faced problems with his bowling action since 2014 and in July 2015 was banned from bowling in international cricket for 12 months after his action was found to be illegal for a second time since November 2014.
