Pakistan to forcefully raise Kashmir issue at UNGA: Birjees Tahir

ISLAMABAD, Sep 9 (APP): Minister for Kashmir Affairs and
Gilgit Baltistan (GB) Chaudhry Muhammad Barjees Tahir Friday said that all the promises made by the Federal government with the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) for area’s development would be fulfilled.

He said this during meeting with the speaker AJK Legislative
Assembly, Shah Ghulam Qadir and senior minister Ch Tariq Farooq and discussed legislation of AJK Assembly, state affairs and various development projects.

In a statement, Barjees Tahir said the federal government was implementing the manifesto of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) and working for the progress and development of the area.

The minister said the federal government was taking keen
interest in the development of different sectors of AJK like health, education, tourism and infrastructure.

He urged AJK government to work day and night for the betterment of the area and assures federal government would support on their positive suggestions.

Discussing the current situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir
, he said Pakistan would continue to support diplomatically, politically and ethically for the just cause of Jammu and Kashmir.
