ISLAMABAD, Sept 18 (APP): Minister for Kashmir Affairs and
Gilgit-Baltistan, Barjees Tahir, Sunday said government is spending billions of rupees for the upgradation of roads to make Pakistan prosperous.
He said infrastructure development would prove as a foundation of prosperity in the country because fast communication a key part for rural economy.
Barjees said this at a inaugural ceremony of a road in
Tarianwali town of Sheikhupura district, said a press release issued here.
The minister said the road network being spread across the
country will contribute to macroeconomic stability in the country, adding for this purpose over one hundred billion rupees are being spent on upgradation of roads in rural areas of Punjab.
He said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)’s government has laid the foundation of real change in the country and working day and night to deliver the masses.
Barjees said government will make this country prosperous till the completion of its constitutional tenure and will gain trust of people in 2018 elections again for the betterment of the country.
