Fed.Ombudsman sets up e network with K Electric to handle complaints


KARACHI, April 21 (APP): Federal Ombudsman (FO), Muhammad Salman
Farooqui on Thursday inaugurated “The Electronic Interface Paperless
Office” to establish a strong minute to minute communication network between FO Secretariat and K Electric, here at K Electric Power House near Shaheen Complex.
This online network would ensure quick disposal of consumers’
complaints against K Electric company. Besides saving time and cost, inch by inch progress on the public complainants against K Electric would be available on this interface link. With opening of a complaint network, a complainant would find the attachment showing current status of the complaint.
The complainants would be informed about the proceedings (date of
hearing) through SMS as well. The FO Secretariat would regularly monitor the movement of things on this interface.
