FBR initiates extensive consultation to seek proposals for Budget 2016-17

ISLAMABAD, Apr 19 (APP): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has initiated extensive consultations with the representatives of various sectors of economy, with a view to develop proposals for Finance Bill 2016-17.

This was informed by Chairman FBR, Nisar Muhammad Khan to Minister for Finance Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar here on Tuesday who chaired a meeting to review the progress with regard to revenue side of Budget 2016-17.

So far FBR has completed consultation with 24 organizations including Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Auto industry, marble industry, and discussed their proposals for the upcoming budget, the Chairman FBR added.
