FBI awards Muslim organization for enhancing mutual cooperation, public safety

WASHINGTON, April 18 (APP): The FBI’s Washington Field Office has selected All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) for the 2015 Director’s Community Leadership Award for its role in building partnerships between law enforcement and the Muslim community to enhance mutual cooperation and public safety.

Recipients of this award are nominated by each of the FBI’s 56 field offices and are recognized for their services above and beyond the call of duty to help keep America and its residents safe.

The award was created in 1990 as a way to honour individuals and organizations for their efforts in combating crime, terrorism, drugs and violence in America.
