ISLAMABAD, May 27 (APP): Chief of Jamiat Ulema e Islam Fazal (JUI F) Maulana Fazal ur Rehman Friday welcomed the formation of parliamentary committee on Terms of Reference (ToRs) on Panama issue.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had presented himself for accountability on Panama papers although his name was not mentioned in it, he said while talking to PTV.
Fazal ur Rehman, who is Chairman of Kashmir Committee, urged that ToRs should be prepared within the parameters of the Constitution of the country.

Some elements who have had offshore companies, just wanted the Prime Minister’s accountability, which was completely injustice, he said adding that all people should be accountable without any discrimination.

To another question, he said, the opposition has right to hold
peaceful protest on the issue but it should not manipulate the situation for point scoring.

He said, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf had dual standards regarding the accountability.

The politics of sit ins badly weaken the democracy in the
country, he maintained.

He said that his party firmly believe in ideological politics rather than levelling allegations on others.

He stated that next general elections would be held in due course of time.
