Tariq Fatemi seeks Norway's support for Pakistan's NGS membership

ISLAMABAD, Sep 3 (APP): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi during a meeting with newly appointed Ambassador of Republic of Korea, has highlighted the atrocities committed by Indian forces in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

He told the ambassador about the alarming situation in IOK due to use of brutal force by the Indian security forces against the unarmed civilians.

He was talking to newly appointed Ambassador Suh Dong-gu who paid his first courtesy call on Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM), said a press release on Saturday.

Bilateral relations and the regional situation were discussed during the meeting.

Fatemi felicitated Ambassador Suh Dong-gu on his appointment as Ambassador to Pakistan.

The Special Assistant expressed the confidence that the newly appointed ambassador would promote the existing level of bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields, especially trade, investment, energy, health and education.

Fatemi also welcomed investment by Korean companies in various sectors of Pakistan’s economy, especially in hydel projects.

He also noted the increase in Korean development assistance.
