FATA Reforms Committee holds consultative session

PESHAWAR, May 2 (APP): The Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA),  Reforms Committee, held a consultative session with the representative of tribal elders from all Frontier Regions (FRs) to discuss reforms  here at Governor House on Monday.

The Committee headed by Advisor to Prime Minister, Sartaj Aziz, include Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, SAFRON Minister, Lt. Gen. ® Abdul Qadir Baloch, Federal Minister Zahid Hamid, Arbab Sehzad and others.

The committee discussed reforms in FATA with special focus on the future status of tribal region and Amendments in FCR with tribal elders from all six Frontier Regions (FRs), FR Peshawar, FR Kohat, FR DI Khan, FR Bannu, FR Luky and FR Tank were intended to obtain their suggestions and ideas regarding FATA reforms.
