ISLAMABAD, Nov 27 (APP): PPP senior leader senator Jahangir Badar has urged all political parties to shun their differences and join hands for progress and prosperity of the country.Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said, PPP has firm belief in democracy that is why it extended goodwill towards all political parties including PML-N.He said credit to restore democracy in the country now and its status as a democratic country goes to Bhutto family, especially Shaheed Benazir Bhutto who sacrificed her live for people’s right.
He added that many attempts were made to destabilize PPP during past particularly in Gen. Zia ul Haq regime when all other political parties joined hands with him and it was PPP alone which fought against the authoritarian rule.
He said President Asif Ali Zardari’s telephonic address to the rally on the occasion of Founding Day of PPP in Karachi is a big message for party’s workers and all the democratic forces which believe in supremacy of democracy in the country.
