ISLAMABAD, Aug 30 (APP): Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Sunday that top Taliban leadership had been eliminated and all parameters had been placed to check regrouping of terrorists.

Talking to PTV, he said ,”main leadership of Taliban was almost finished, mid level is eliminated and under training terrorists are on the run, we destroy their ammunition and training camps in mountains”.

He said Taliban were enemy of the humanity and the nation for their heinous crimes

Answering a question, he said Hakeemullah or anybody else was insignificant to them as they were hired killer and terrorists, adding their mastermind and executer is Al-Qaeda and their financial supporters.

“They are not serving Islam but serving their evil masters”.

He said action would be taken wherever writ of the government was challenged.

“What is significant to us is our action, determination, our fight and Pakistan was our first priority”.

He said people in Malakand division and FATA were fully supporting security forces in their ongoing operation.

Rehman Malik also paid tribute to security forces for conducting operation in professional way in Malakand, adding the nation would never forget young security officials who gave their lives for restoring security and establishing writ of the government.

Replying to another question, he said UK government was committed to capacity building of security forces.

“International community has realized that Pakistan had will, ability and determination but not a capacity to desired level.
