Pakistan, India sign agreement on Narcotics smuggling |

ISLAMABAD,
Nov 25 (APP): Pakistan and Indian on Tuesday singed an agreement to stop
narcotics smuggling between the two countries. The fifth
round of secretary level talks between Pakistan and India began here on Tuesday.
The
Pakistani side is led by Interior Secretary Syed Kamal Shah, while Madhukar
Gupta, Home Secretary India, is heading Indian delegation.
Senior
Joint Secretary Narcotics Control Hassan Mahmood singed the agreement from
Pakistani side.
The meeting
also discussed various other issues like terrorism, detained fishermen,
prisoners issue, councilor access to prisoners and free visa policy.
Additional
Secretary Interior Imtiaz Qazi, Director General National Crisis Management Cell
Tariq Lodhi, Additional Secretary Foreign Affairs Azaz Chaudhry, Additional
Director FIA Yasin Mirza and Senior Joint Secretary of Narcotics Control
Division, Hassan Mahmood assisted Interior Minister Syed Kamal in the talks.
