Six killed, 24 injured in blast near Danish Embassy |

ISLAMABAD,
Jun 2 (APP): Health officials on Monday confirmed that at least six people died
and 24 injured in the blast near Danish Embassy here.
They told
APP that dead and injured of the bomb explosion were shifted to Pakistan
Institute of Medical Science (PIMS) and Federal Government Services Hospital (FGSH).
The bodies
at FGSH were identified as Syed Shahid Hussain, Amir Maseeh and Muhammad Nasir
while one body could not be identified so far.
The injured
shifted to FGSH were identified as: Umar Hussain, Zaman, M. Haleem, Tanveer
(Constable), Najeeb Aslam, Mamoona Abbas, M. Waseem, Tariq, Farzana Shaheen,
Sher Azam, Saima Hussain, Sardar Ali, Muhammad Altaf, Hyder Sultan and Razia
Aslam.
The bodies
shifted to PIMS were identified as: Zafar Iqbal and Muntazir Hussain.
The injured
were: Allah Ditta, Jahangir, Maria, Gul Zaman, Sajjad Maseeh, Abdul Manan,
Tanveer and Waqar.
Joint
Executive Director FGSH Dr. Shaukat Kayani and Assistant Director PIMS Dr.
Waseem Khawja confirmed the number as well as the identity of dead and injured
shifted to the respective hospitals.
