KARACHI, July 27 (APP): Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan on Wednesday accepted the resignation of the outgoing chief minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah.

With the acceptance of the resignation of the chief minister, the provincial cabinet also stands dissolved.

The new leader of House in the Sindh Assembly would be elected in the session of the Assembly on Friday.

Talking to media, the governor lauded the services of Syed Qaim Ali Shah.

He expressed the hope that the nominee for the post of chief minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah would benefit from the experience of Syed Qaim Ali Shah.

Governor was of the view that the incoming chief minister would be facing a number of challenges including that of the law and order, fight against terrorists.

Qaim Ali Shah said on the occasion that he intends to write a
book about his political life.

To a question, he said that he is a member of the Pakistan
Peoples Party (PPP) and would remain so in the time ahead.
