KARACHI, Oct 27 (APP):Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on Kashmir Black Day, observed every year on October 27.
He said in his message that October 27 is not merely a date on the calendar, but a solemn reminder of decades of suffering, resilience, and unyielding courage of the Kashmiri people. He said that for over seven decades, men, women, and children in occupied Kashmir have borne the weight of occupation, suppression, and injustice, yet their spirit remains unbroken.
The PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari pointed out that since India’s unilateral revocation of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status on August 5, 2019, the valley has endured unprecedented restrictions on movement, communication, and assembly.
He condemned the unabated atrocities including fake encounters, custodial torture, extrajudicial killings, and enforced disappearances  that have turned the region into an open-air prison.
He urged the international community to act with conscience, uphold human rights, and ensure the Kashmiri people’s inalienable right to self-determination in accordance with UN resolutions.
Reaffirming his party’s historic stance,  Bilawal said that the PPP, following the vision of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Kashmir until their dream of freedom and justice becomes a reality.
