ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP): Directorate of Electronic, Media and Publication (DEMP), ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage distributed more than 24 thousands valuable booklets during 45-day journey of Azadi Train across the country.
According to officials of the DEMP, the organization maintained two galleries including Kashmir Gallery and Pakistan Movement Gallery at Azadi Train. The historical pictures and replicas of historical buildings was displayed in both the galleries.
The gallery of Pakistan Movement was displayed most of the rear photos of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other prominent leaders highlighting the struggle for the independence of Pakistan.
During stay at various railways stations, the official of DEMP distributed booklets about Pakistan Movement, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah addresses, Kashmir, magazines and other informative booklets.
The officials of DEMP said that they were made efforts to distribute these booklets specially among students.
The visitors also took keen interest in the Kashmir Gallery, maintained by DEMP. In that gallery, the photos of Kashmiris, highlighting the atrocities of Indian forces in the Kashmir valley was displayed.
The teachers at various railways stations, highly appreciated DEMP for distributing informative books among the students and maintaining such a informative and historical galleries.
