Dar urges ADB to increase financial resources for Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, May 5 (APP): Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar on
Thursday urged the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to consider the huge development needs of Pakistan.
He said the Bank might consider enhancing the financial resource
allocation for Pakistan especially under Energy Sector Reform Program (Sub Program III) and Public Sector Reforms Program.
In a meeting with President ADB Takehiko Nakao on the sidelines of
ADB’s annual Board of Governors meeting in Frankfurt, Finance Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar underscored the high value of Pakistan placed on its partnership with ADB.
