COAS confirms death row to 11 terrorists

RAWALPINDI, May 3 (APP): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday confirmed death sentences awarded to 11 more hardcore terrorists, who were found guilty of heinous offences related to terrorism including killing and kidnapping civilians, attacking Armed Forces and  Law Enforcement Agencies, destruction of schools and communication infrastructure.

The convicts were tried by military courts, according to ISPR press release.

Brief of each case is:

The convict Muhammad Umar s/o Deer Khan was an active member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. He was involved in attacking Armed Forces of Pakistan and Law Enforcement Agencies which resulted in death of soldiers and injuries to police officials.
