CIA chief says won’t bring back torture, even if next president orders

NEW YORK, Apr 11 (APP): CIA Director John Brennan said Monday he won’t allow any torture tactics on terror suspects in the future, even if they are ordered by the next president.

In a slap at Donald Trump, the Republican presidential front runner, who has said he will waterboard terrorist suspects if he’s elected, he told NBC News that the spy agency would not conduct interrogations using controversial techniques.
Brennan said that he will not agree to carry out such techniques because “this institution needs to endure.”

President Barack Obama banned waterboarding shortly after taking office in 2009.
