ISLAMABAD, Jun 4 (APP): Chairperson Prime Minister’s Youth
Programme (PMYP) Leila Khan on Saturday said that capacity building workshops would be arranged in all four provinces for the trainers and teachers of Technical and Vocational Training Institutes.
Addressing a concluding session of Capacity Building Workshop organized by Prime Minister Youth Programme in collaboration with United Nations Counter Terrorism Implementation Task Force (UNCTITF) and experts from International Labour Organization (ILO) for the senior trainers and teachers of Technical and Vocational Institutes
Chairperson PMYP said that the representatives of all the four provinces very openly discussed the issues in this forum.
She said that more such capacity building workshops would be organized on provincial level, adding that “We definitely take it to district level,”.
She thanked the United Nations Counter Terrorism
Implementation Task Force (UNCTITF) and experts from International Labour Organization (ILO) for cooperation in organizing this workshop for the capacity building of senior trainers and managers from Technical and Vocational Institutes from across the country.
Leila Khan expressed hope that all the participants would play
an important role in improving the existing standards of technical and vocational training in their respective areas.
She said that the government has allocated more funds for the students of FATA as they were our top priority. She said that the government would continue its efforts to create more opportunities for the youth of the Fata.
Earlier, she distributed certificates among the 26
participants of the five day workshop.
Representatives from United Nations, ILO and TEVTA also
present on the occasion.
