MULTAN, Mar 17 (APP)::Rich tribute was paid to known Calligrapher Ali Ejaz Nizami at a condolence reference held at Multan Arts Council (MAC) on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Shehzad Ahmed, a teacher of Multan College of Arts said that Ali Ejaz Nizami was a great calligrapher, who introduced culture and civilization of south Punjab in an amicable way.
His artistic work will be remembered for a long time, he said adding that Nizami’s work always disseminated message of love and fragrance of the local soil also continued to attract people, not only in Pakistan but also across the globe.
Director Multan Arts Council Sajjad Jahania said that Nizami’s work depicted love for homeland.
Professor Anwar Jamal said Ali Ejaz was a great human being and his work was different from other artists.
Mohsin Nizami, son of the great artist, said that the life of his father was a long struggle.
He never compromised on his work and remained steadfast during difficult times even.
Noted Journalist Shiekh Saleem Naaz said the great calligrapher was a model for others.
On this occasion, Shakir Hussain Shakir, Saleem Qaisar, Hafiz Iqbal Bhatti, Aamir Shehzad Siddique, Noor ul Ameen Khakwani an Yasmeen Khakwani also paid homage to the services of Ali Ejaz Nizami.
