ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (APP): The price of per tola 24 karat gold witnessed a massive increase of Rs 14,100 on Friday, reaching all time high to Rs 456,900 compared to Rs 442,800 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold surged by Rs 12,089 to Rs 391,718 from Rs 379,629, while 10 grams of 22 karat gold climbed to Rs 359,087 from Rs 348,005, showing an increase of Rs 11,082.
In the international market, gold prices also rose by $141, reaching $4,358 against $4,217 on the prior day.
Similarly, the price of per tola 24 karat silver went up by Rs 167 to Rs 5,504 from Rs 5,337, while 10 grams of silver increased by Rs 143 to Rs 4,718 from Rs 4,575.
International silver prices also rose by $1.67 to $54.17 per ounce, the association reported.
