ISLAMABAD, May 10 (APP): Benazir Income Support Programm (BISP) is ready to initiate the pilot phase of its new poverty survey in 15 districts and a tribal agency by the middle of this year, following the best international practices.
This was stated by Minister of State and Chairperson BISP MNA Marvi
Memon during her visit to Chakwal and its adjacent villages, Mureed, Bhoun and Keryala in order to create awareness among massess about the survey.
While addressing large gatherings of elected members of local bodies,
notables and beneficiaries, Chairperson BISP said that BISP aimed to conduct the most reliable and accurate resurvey utilizing the advanced mechanisms and procedures, said a press release issued here on Tuesday.
