ISLAMABAD, Sept 29 (APP): Minister of State for Higher Education and Professional Training Engr Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman along with the Minister of Planning and Development Prof Ahsan Iqbal attended the 7th Roots Youth Model United Nations Conference organized by Metropolitan International University.

Baligh ur Rehan congratulated Walid Mushtaq and his team for making a difference in education sector by introducing innovative paradigms and creating awareness among the
students amount Global issues, modern technologies and advancements in academia through such events.

Quoting the examples of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Salhuddin Ayubi, Minister showed confidence in the youth of Pakistan.

He said youth were the future of the country. Negotiating peace in the midst of a crisis, finding effective solutions to solve problems and encouraging cooperation amongst hostile countries would be in their hands soon, he emphasized.

He added that they need to be able to formulate policies that will be sustainable even in long term.

The minister congratulated the team of Roots International for arranging such an interesting conference and wished students good luck.

Federal Minister for Planning and Development also shared his views with the audience and encouraged students to participate in such conferences more often, not only in Pakistan but in abroad as well.
