Asian baseball body praises efforts of PFB for development of game in Pakistan

LAHORE, Sep 12 (APP):Baseball Federation of Asia has praised the efforts and hard work of Pakistan Federation Baseball for the overall development of the game and gaining good results in the international baseball events.
The Asian baseball body acknowledged PFB development plan at its Executive Committee meeting held recently in Miyazaki, Japan and Syed Fakhar Ali Shah President Pakistan Federation Baseball / Executive Director West Asia Baseball Federation of Asia attended the meeting.
“For us it is very encouraging that Asian baseball body is well aware of the fact what we are doing for the cause of baseball in the country “,said Fakhar on his return home here on Wednesday.
He said the house also appreciated the good results in of Pak team in Asian Games (5th Position) and U12 Asian Baseball Championship (4th Position).
PFB official said a number of important decisions were taken in the meeting and dates of baseball events were finalized.
“West Asia Baseball Cup 2019 will be held in Sri Lanka in March 2019 and Its top two teams will qualify for 29th Asian Baseball Championship 2019, 2nd BFA Women’s Asian Baseball Championship will be held in China. Top two teams will qualify for Women’s Baseball World Cup, BFA Under-15 Asian Baseball Championship will be held in Shenzhen, China in August – September 2019, 29th Asian Baseball Championship will be held in Chinese Taipei in November 2019. Top two teams will qualify for Olympics 2020 Japan”,he added.
