Army teams arriving to participate in Int’l PACES championship

LAHORE, Oct 14 (APP): Army teams of five countries have
arrived so far to participate in the first International PACES
2016 (Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System) championship to be held from October 18 to 23 in Punjab provincial metropolis.

According to the ISPR on Friday, squads of Sri Lanka, China, Jordan, Malaysia and Maldives have arrived at the Allama Iqbal International Airport during the last couple of days where officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army warmly welcomed the participants.

It is pertinent to mention here that International PACES championship is the first ever mega sports event to be competed by over 370 participants from armies of 16 countries,including Pakistan.
