APHC hails PM Nawaz for consulting Kashmiri leadership prior to UN GA address

MUZAFFARABAD, Sept 16 (APP): All Parties Hurriet Conference (APHC) AJK chapter pays tributes to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for taking Kashmiri leadership into confidence and holding consultations on the Kashmir issue prior to his scheduled address at UN General Assembly.

The APHC senior leader Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Mir Tahir Masood, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar and Rafique Ahmed Dar in their joint press conference Friday said Prime Minister has assured that in UN general Assembly meeting he will advocate the Kashmir case comprehensively.

PM will highlight the gross human rights violations and
atrocities of Indian occupied forces perpetuating against innocent Kashmiri people in occupied Kashmir, the APHC leaders said.

Prime Minister assured that Pakistan will continue its moral,
political and diplomatic support to Kashmiri people till the
final settlement of Kashmir dispute as per wishes of the Kashmiri people.

The APHC leaders told that during the meeting with Prime
Minister, the APHC proposed that elected government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir should be given opportunity to work out on Kashmir issue on international forums that would give a good and positive image on international level and international community will not only give weight to Kashmir dispute and importance to Kashmiri representatives
but will also listen to their grievances.

They said that Prime Minister have also been given a
suggestion to demand UN in General Assembly to deploy UN special missions across the both sides of Kashmir(LOC) who will directly report and inform to the UN Central office about the situation.

The APHC leadership also briefed the Prime Minister about the current situation of Indian held Kashmir and expressed their well wishes to PM for having successful visit and address at UN.
