Apex committee discuss measures to materialize NAP

PESHAWAR, Sept 3 (APP): A meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (kP) Apex Committee chaired by Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra at Governor House here Saturday reviewed the overall law and order situation and discussed measures to materialize National Action Plan (NAP) in its true perspective.

The meeting among others was attended by Chief Minister
KP, Pervez Khattak, Commander 11 Corps Lieutenant General, Hidayat ur Rahman, Inspector General Police, Nasir Khan Durrani and Commandant F.C, Liaqat Ali Khan.

Situation emerged in wake of Mardan and Warsak terrorism
incidents came under discussion and it was observed that security measures haD to be further streamlined. It was said that facilitators of heinous crime would also be brought to justice.

The security along China Pakistan Economic Corridor route
also came under discussion and it was decided that Special Patrol Unit would be established on patron of Gilgit Baltistan Police.

Earlier participants of the meeting offered fateha for the
eternal peace of departed souls who embraced martyrdom in terrorist attack in District Courts Mardan.
