ANP’s senior leader Haji Adeel laid to rest

PESHAWAR, Nov 18 (APP): Senior leader of Awami National Party (ANP) and former Senator Haji Adeel was laid to rest here Friday at his ancestral graveyard.
The funeral was attended by Deputy Chairman Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, political leadership and thousands of workers of ANP besides locals in large number here at Jinnah Park.
Haji Adeel died of cardiac arrest. He was also suffering from kidneys and liver complications. He left one son and a daughter to mourn.
He was born on October 25, 1944 and was elected member provincial assembly from NWFP (Now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) in 1990, 1993, and 1997. He also served as finance minister in the provincial cabinet in 1993.
He served as vice president Abaseen Arts Council and president
Fine Arts Society, Edwards College.
