Afghan President phones PM; assures of more security measures for Pakistani diplomats

ISLAMABAD, Jan 13 (APP): Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday made a telephonic call to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and apprised him regarding the attack on
Pakistani Consulate in Jalalabad.
The Afghan President expressed his concern and grief over the attack on Pakistani Consulate and assured Prime Minister Sharif of more security measures for Pakistan’s
diplomats in Afghanistan.
The Prime Minister thanked the Afghan President for his concerns and also conveyed his condolences on the deaths of Afghan security personnel. The Prime Minister stated that terrorism was a common enemy for both the countries and they would fight this menace
together to eliminate it once for all.
