ISLAMABAD, May 4 (APP): Ministerial Committee for Construction of Diamer-Bhasha Dam Wednesday informed that around 90 percent land for the construction of dam had been acquired.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit Affairs Barjees Tahir, minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, minister for Inter Provincial Coordination, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada,
minister for Overseas Pakistanis Pir Sadaruddin Shah Rashdi, Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman, chairman WAPDA Zafar Mehmood, federal secretary of Kashmir Affairs and Chief Secretary of GB.
The committee apprised that entire land of the dam for the storage of water had been acquired while instruction had been issued for obtaining of remaining 10 percent land.
